Frequently Asked Questions

When Do I Get My Goods?

Because many of the goods are imported, the process is as follows:

  • Once the order is placed and if it is not in our inventory, we confirm with the vendor(s) on availability and if not automated, this takes place within one business day.
  • If an item is out of stock on our end and is on back order, we will advise you as soon as we confirm with the vendor.
  • All items that are not in our local inventory will go through a quality inspection before being sent to you once they arrive to our distribution center. Once received, the item(s) will be sent with tracking to you the same or next business day after we receive it.
  • Extended arrival times have been experienced due to the pandemic.

Please be patient with delivery. There are factors well outside of our control including availability, time originally dispatched as well as time through customs as needed.

Items sourced in the US may take less time to arrive to you, but a majority of our goods are imported directly from various Celtic nations.

Returns

  • Our policy lasts a total of 15 days from the date it arrives to you. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase has been delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund, credit or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns

  • You will be eligible for a refund if the item is returned to us within 15 days from the date it arrives to you. This is calculated from the delivery date to you from the tracking number provided
  • If an item is returned after the 15 day window and within 30 days from the time of delivery, you will be eligible for a store credit
  • Once 30 days has passed from the time of you received your goods, you are no longer eligible for a refund or credit
  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging

You must email service@celticgoods.com for an authorization number.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
 
Additional non-returnable items:
  • Gift cards
  • Any item returned 30 days after the time of the delivery to you
 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.  We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card, original method of payment or as a store credit in the form of a gift card, depending upon the timing of the return.

Partial Refunds
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error may be eligible for only a partial refund

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at service@celticgoods.com for an authorization number and once you receive an email with it, please follow the instructions and send your item to: Celticgoods 2416 Watervale Rd PO Box 383, Fallston MD 21047.

Shipping

To return your product, you should first contact us to obtain a return authorization number which we will send to you via email, Please include the email and you can return the item to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
 
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item without tracking.
